PASCAD werd in 2006 opgericht door twee adviseurs in facility management, nadat ze hadden gemerkt dat er veel behoefte was aan duidelijke rapportages en overzichten van gebouwen. PASCAD begon met het ondersteunen van opdrachtgevers bij het beheer van hun (CAD-)tekeningen. Op één digitale plek beschikbaar, veilig achter een inlog.
Steeds vaker kregen zij de vraag om ook tekeningen te reviseren. Bijvoorbeeld als de situatie in een gebouw veranderde, of voor nieuwbouw.
